From novice golfers to grizzled link veterans, there is nobody teeing off who cannot use a little bit of help on their golf game. Indeed, even professional PGA Tour players have a large staff of trainers and video analysts who break down the mechanics and errors of a particular shot in order to foster improvement. A <a href="http://golfswingtrainerguide.com/"title="" >golf swing trainer who will monitor and suggest improvements to your game can be very beneficial, but also costly — many trainers who work at courses or driving ranges charge between twenty and fifty dollars per hour. Simple tools can be purchased at pro shops or sporting good stores, however, that can assist in leveling out the wrists and elbows and produce a higher quality shot.

The most common golf swing trainer device is a clamp that, when clipped to the grip of a club and then attached to the dominant wrist, will push the hand towards the “professional” stance and correct mechanical errors that result unconsciously from poor form. This type of trainer is very inexpensive — only ten to twenty dollars — and works for any range of shots, from teeing off to putting, allowing for improvement in every area of your game. The padding melds up against the wrist and forearm so that you know precisely where the sweet spot is for exact motion.

Another variant on a golf swing plane trainer is a foam or plastic strip that is wrapped about the elbows while swinging. This strip looks and feels awkward, but forces the elbows to move together on a swing and follow through, which in turn channels the kinetics to a fluid delivery. These cost the same as wrist guards but should be used for golfers who have experience with focusing their wrists, and who need to transfer their attention to proper arm movements. They are quite handy to have in your sports bag along with all your other golf equipment.

When it comes to improving your golf game, choosing the right <a href="http://golfswingtrainerguide.com/"title="" >golf swing trainer plays a huge factor in the improvement of your game. One of the parts of the game that an instructor is the most valuable, is in improving your swing. This article will be a guide to help you choose the right swing coach to help your game.

The first thing you need to do is find someone who you are compatible with. Sharing personality traits, mutual goals, and a similar outlook to the game, are things that are a must for you and your coach. You should definitely do a lot of research of professionals in your area. perhaps head down to a local course and ask around. This isn’t something you can just open up the phone book and find. Another key is finding an instructor that not only has the experience, but also the education to get your game to the level you desire.

There are many out there who claim to be coaches and experts, but are merely people who have taken a two week course on how to teach. When looking for a coach, its important that you check with the PGA and LPGA to make sure they have accredited this individual. They can reveal to you how much experience they have in coaching, and also tell you of their philosophies and past experiences. Both things that are very nice to know before you hire someone. You can also ask for references from students that have used this coach. Most instructors, if not all, know use video swing analysis in order to help improve your swing. Its become so popular, that if you find a coach that doesn’t offer it, you might as well say thanks and walk away. if its used correctly, this technology becomes a third pair of eyes with the technological abilities that are similar to the use of MRI and X-ray. You know how important those things are.

On the other hand, you also don’t want an instructor that only uses video technology to help your game out. You want one that has a good balance of video and one on one experiences. Finally, a good instructor will be one that you can ask questions and get feedback from. They also will provide you with the ability to receive feedback, and also answer any questions you might have after your lesson is over. if you find that offers you their phone number or email add after hours, that’s a huge plus because it means that they are committed to improving your game on their own time. If you are able to find a combination of these things, you will surely be on your way to improving your game an becoming a better golfer. Take your time in conducting your search, and success will be unavoidable.

When choosing a <a href="http://golfswingtrainerguide.com/"title="" >golf swing trainer, the most important thing you must keep in mind is what you want to accomplish. Evaluate your performance on the golf course, and have a close friend evaluate your swing to the best of their ability. After this you need to ask yourself what kind of help you need. Are you in need of a few minor corrections? Or do you need to rework your entire swing.

Remember, your golf swing is a combination of your upswing and downswing, one leads into another. Once you have completely evaluated yourself and your goals the time has come to choose a golf swing trainer. Depending on what kind of help you need, you may choose either the local instructor, a private instructor, or a golf professional at a championship quality course. If you feel that you need to rework your entire swing, it is best to start with a qualified professional at a championship quality course. They will be able to evaluate you at day one and give you proper coaching on developing a swing similar to their own. This is crucial to realize when choosing a swing trainer: your resultant swing will resemble theirs, so make sure that you watch them swing first. There are a few variations on the golf swing, so do not choose an instructor whose swing is not like the one you would like. If you only need a few tips or need only make small improvements on your swing, the local golf instructor should suit your needs. Of course the instructor should be qualified. Make sure to ask him his experience with golfing and any training he has had on his swing.

The last thing you need is to learn from someone who has taught themselves, because his swing may not be beneficial to you, or even practical. Also, ask to see your instructors lesson plan, or hear his ideas for your training. It is easy to for an instructor to “wing it” with you, and this can lead to spotty instruction, not learning the entire technique, or even confusion on both parties. Once you have chosen an instructor make sure to evaluate yourself weekly, or after every lesson or two. Your instructor should also evaluate your performance on a weekly or biweekly basis. This is to insure you are getting your moneys worth.

Golf is one of the hardest games out there. Perfecting your swing can take years. Everyone has problems with their swing, and they are always trying to make it better. The swing is the most important thing in golf, since it is used in all facets of the game, except putting of course.

Finding a <a href="http://golfswingtrainerguide.com/"title="" >golf swing trainer is an easy, cheap way to improve your game. Sure, you could go to your local country club and go take some lessons for hundreds of dollars an hour from their golf pro. Swing trainers are self explanatory since they tell you if you are doing something wrong.

I personally had a very bad hook in my swing and all the balls landed in the woods or the next fairway over. I bought the Medicus dual hinge driver. This club is actually hinged at different spots in the club, which will break when your swing is not correct. It will break in many different scenarios. If your swing is not straight, it will break. If your swing is too fast or too slow, it will break. If the tempo is wrong, it will break. It is a great tool since you do not need a pro to tell you that your swing is wrong. This club does it all for you, and is the best at what it does. The club will only cost about forty bucks and is worth every penny.

From my experience, it took me about a month to correct my swing to where it is now. I went from being a plus five handicap golfer to a scratch golfer in a matter of no time. This club is not only for just swinging, even though it is hinged, you can hit actual balls with it. You could even play your round with it if you so choose.

Medicus also comes out with other clubs, such as the dual hinge five and seven iron. They even come out with a putting trainer as well to help you straighten out your putts. Medicus have been making swing trainers for years, and are clearly the best in the business at it.

In an earlier post here on golf swing trainer I spoke about the top of the swing. After you reach the top there is only one way to go, down. The down swing is just as important as the rest of the swing (upswing and the top of the swing).

The first movement from the top of the swing is a lateral thrust of the hips to the left, eventually followed by an automatic turning of the hips. This is true. But there is more than that. Here are some great tips to improve your downswing.

Not only should the hips move to the left and turn, but their movement must be very much tied to the left arm that it pulls the arm and the club down as it they whips through the ball.

It is vitally important that movement is done for you to become a good golfer It must be a definite, conscious feeling that this happens. To finish the proper movement, the hips must turn towards the target as they reach the extension of their lateral movement. You hips need to be in the proper position when you hit the ball.

What happens, actually, is that the left arm itself is being pulled by the hips. The arm is merely the connecting rod between the hips and the club. When the hips exert this pulling action, they cause the shoulders and the left arm to revolve so fast around the axis of the upper spine that the hands have little or no time to manipulate or do anything whatever with the club except hang onto it.

I know it sounds quite easy to do and to understand, but nearly all golfer fail to do it. We’ve all heard it and read about it as well as in pictures, yet many still go on by starting down with their hands or pulling with their arms or even forget to follow through with their hips by stopping them after they start them.

What are the reasons that they fail?

The first is that this is a big movement and they are afraid to make it. The second is that, preoccupied with what they think they must make the club head do, they completely forget the fundamental hip action and let it die.

The biggest source of power you can get in your golf swing is from the hips. The big muscles of the upper legs and of the torso are giving the club a flying start before the hands do anything.

If you can imagine, think of a rope running from the left hip up your left side to your shoulder and then out through your left hand. This rope is pulled tight at the top of the swing. As the hips start the downswing by moving to the left and turning, they will pull your shoulder, arm, and club with them so long as the rope is tight.
The rope can be kept tight only if the hips move first and only if they keep moving and then turning, on past the ball. If not, the rope will have slack in it and the club will never gain the speed it needs when it reaches the ball.

How do we know when to start the hip movement?

We start it the instant we feel the backward momentum of the club start to pull against our hands at the top. This is a reflex action with most of us, but for those who want the moment pinpointed, there it is. And once you start to move the hips, keep them flying—all the way through until they turn toward the target. This action alone will cure a great number of golfing ills.

I’ll have more to say in regards to the down-swing in a later post, but for now I know if you follow this it will improve your game.

In my first post I discussed the importance of your hips and the role it plays in you down swing. In the post of golf swing trainer, I’ll talk about how it should feel and what to expect from your results (if done correctly) of a well-executed down-swing .

When you let your hips lead the way and have your arms and clubs follow them, you will see a great improvement in your game. How do you know if you’re doing it correctly? I’m sure that about 95% of all golfers have been hitting from the top and from the outside for quite some time, but if you follow the steps laid out in part one of this post, those actions should feel strange to you and my problem is how am I to describe it to you.

There seems to be only two ways that I could describe it to you. One, we coil ourselves up on the backswing to gain tension that is going to be released as late as possible on the downswing. Holding that tension is the “staying uncomfortable” feeling, the “storing up” feeling. That is what gives us distance.

Second, as we move our hips laterally and keep our head back, but do nothing else, there is a complete absence of effort in our arms and hands. Then, if we have kept ourselves from uncoiling, the hands and club come down on the inside. That, plus club-face position, gives us direction.

If the swing has been made correctly and if the hand-wrist position gained by the backward break has been held, then one knuckle of the left hand should be visible and two of the right, the club face should be at about a 45-degree angle with the ground, the right arm should be firm .against the, right side, and if the hips have gone through as they should, the player should be able to see the outside of his right leg from the hip to the foot.

Except for seeing the outside of the right leg, these check points are exactly the same as they were after the stationary wrist break on the backswing.

In a golf swing there are three different parts that make up the entire swing, the upswing, the top of the swing and the downswing. In this post of golf swing trainer, I’ll cover the top of the swing.

The top of the swing a vital position, and when it is reached the next fatal flaw makes its appearance.

It might be wise to first take a look at the top of the back-swing. Actually there is no absolute top, in a sense that everything which has been moving in one upward and backward direction will reach it’s limit at the same time and start forward and down together. All the parts of the swinging system the club, hands, arms, body, and legs-do not reach their backward limits at the same time.

When we speak of the top of the back swing here, we mean the top of the swing for the hands.

Your swing can be thrown off, caused by an early body twist with a late upward wrist break. A swing that starts out great can easily be ruined as it nears the top.

What happens is that as the swing goes up, it gets tighter and tension develops. You will feel it mostly in the upper part of your body and it’s not a comfortable feeling. Subconsciously the player checks the shoulder turn, letting the left hand bend backwards as the wrist collapses and he/she looses the left hand grip.

At that point any well laid out plan just disappears. The restriction of one’s shoulder turn and the collapse of the left wrist permit the person to bring the club up instead of back and around. Relaxing of the left hand lets the club drop down into an over-swing. The right elbow comes up, and generally more weight settles on the left leg, as the player pivots instead of moving his weight, and settles himself into a more comfortable position the easy chair slouch.

At that point, all bets are off. The result will be a horrible shot that will have you looking for your ball somewhere you don’t want to be looking. The ball can and will fly just about anywhere. Most often resulting in a slice, but it can also be pulled, smothered, hooked, scuffed, topped, skied, or shanked.

How can you avoid having this happening to you?

The Answer:
The move that avoids the easy-chair slouch and gets you to the top correctly is simply a purposeful shoulder turn with a firm retention of the wrist position gained by the backward break. The shoulders are the motivating force, so let them turn then pick up the momentum and let it swing the hands to the top.
The key is to have you shoulders turn on the back swing, not rock. As the hands are brought up and around, the shoulders should tilt somewhat, with the right eventually becoming higher than the left. But one of the worst things that can happen is for the left shoulder to duck.

If you want to improve you golf game, you need to get a grip. In this post on golf swing trainer, I want to give you a better idea on how to grip you golf clubs. How tight of a grip do you need to have? You don’t want to have a loose grip or even a firm grip, we want to have a tight grip.

I don’t mean that you should have the type of grip that your muscle in your arms and shoulders are tied up with tension, but we do want to have our hands tightly on the clubs. If you’re wondering about the wrist in regards that the swing would be stiff and wooden, don’t worry about the wrist.

I’ve rarely every seen anybody to stiff or too tight in swinging a golf clubs (except those “scared” beginners), but I’ve seen many if not thousands of loose ones. The whole tendency in pupils is to take too light a grip. The loose grip leads into faults opening the hands at the top, collapsing the left wrist, over swinging, and so on.

A tight grip, though it does feel awkward for a while, acts as a brace from these various faults and makes the entire swing action easier to perform correctly.

By a tight grip we also mean with practically all the fingers that are on the club. These would be the last three of the left hand and the first three of the right. Many players have a tendency to place the forefinger of the right hand, the one that hooks around the shaft just below the right thumb, very lightly on the club. Don’t do it, it will hook.

Place the finger around the shaft firmly, so that the tip of it makes a definite contact with the tip of your thumb. If you don’t, the club will be liable to drop, at the top of the swing, into the big V between the forefinger and thumb. This means a loss of control at the top, which must be regained as the club comes down.

Now, how do we stand up the ball? No great mystery is involved in this either, although certain points must be observed.

It’s important that we take a position that will enable us to swing the club freely and to bring it down to the ball on an inside-out arc easily. To do this, the weight should be divided equally between the feet and the knees must be slightly flexed (it’s better too much than too little).

You should be bent ever so slightl from the waist and the shoulders should be rounded or hunched over. The head should be down, but not too much. The right shoulder should be lower than the left because of the fact that the right hand is lower on the shaft than the left (if you’re a lefty, reverse it).

I hope this post helps to improve your swing. I know that it’s helped me in the past and it’s something that I always keep in mind when I play.
