Golf Swing Trainer – Custom Clubs (Part One)
Ask any golf swing trainer if getting a set of custom clubs would benefit your game and they’ll tell you that it most definitely will. If your planning on getting a new set of clubs then thinking of having them custom made is the way to go.
Every golfer has a different swing as well as a physical capability. most of the clubs that are out there can be fitted to fit your needs. The lie angle, shaft type and length and also the grip type and size are the thing that are taken into consideration when being fitted for custom clubs. Getting fitted involves just a few easy measurements along with a self-assessment of your game. It become more popular by the not-so-professionals than ever to have a set custom made clubs.
The idea of custom fitting is ensure that the club will be square at impact to produce a straight shot. The clubs are suited to your personal swing. The custom fitting is typically free of charge, based on the fact that you will be buying a brand new set. In some cases you old clubs can be fitted to be custom made, but depending on how much you play, it may be worth going out and buying a new set.
There are several things that are taken into consideration when being fitted for a set of custom made golf clubs. First is your gender along with your height without your shoes on. The distance (in inches) from your wrist (where it bends) to the floor, again without your shoes on.Your age and your handicap is also figured into the mix. How fast you swing the golf club and what club you use at the hundred and fifty yard marker are needed to round out the fitting process.
Custom fitting won’t cure all your bad shots. Coaching will sort that out. But if you do make a good swing, then the custom golf club will arrive correctly at impact and should produce a straight shot at your target. That alone will save shots during a round.
In my next post, I will go over the step involved in being fitted for a set of custom made golf clubs.

If someone is on a limited budget, could they have individual clubs made or do you think this would defeat the purpose and benefit of custom clubs? You do make a lot of good points in your post. Thanks for contributing this post to the Athletic Alley Blog Carnival.
I’m glad I read your comments. I just looked up sources for golf clubs. I’ll share a short article I found helpful on this same subject.
